The game's B.D.C. security team published its Ten "Don'ts" rule list on October 21, 2025. Does Arena Breakout: Infinite HWID Ban Players?
Yes, Arena Breakout: Infinite bans devices, not only accounts. Three official sources say it in plain words:
- The Ten "Don'ts" (October 21, 2025). Rule 1 on ABI's Steam announcement of the Ten "Don'ts" pairs the account and the device in one ten-year penalty for verified cheating.
- The Code of Conduct. The security page on the official site says that for cheats, ABI may cancel your ranking and ban your account "or even your device".
- The bi-weekly Bans Notices. All 30 Steam notices posted from September 2025 to September 2026 give device and IP bans their own line. The one covering September 7 to 20, 2026 logged 8,788 cheating bans, including 1,409 ten-year bans and 820 device or IP bans.
ABI's own term for it is a device ban. Players and spoofer makers call the same thing an HWID ban, short for hardware ID ban.
What Does ABI's Ten-Year Account and Device Ban Mean?
A ten-year ban in Arena Breakout: Infinite is the top penalty the game gives. It covers roughly 3,650 days, which is also the maximum ban its Code of Conduct lists for other rule breaks. A hardware ID ban attaches the penalty to the machine instead of the login, which explains why ABI names the device beside the account.
In practice the penalty has two parts:
- The account. Your Level Infinite Pass account, which ABI requires for login, stays banned for ten years.
- The device. The PC you played on is flagged too, so a fresh account on that machine is not a clean start.
The numbers show how routine this is. ABI's Security Center counter read 187,387 ten-year cheating bans and 55,495 banned devices on September 29, 2026. The Season 6 report adds that verified plug-in users get the ten-year ban even if they never eliminated anyone. "Plug-in" is ABI's word for a cheat.
How Does ABI Go From Suspicion to a Ban?
Arena Breakout: Infinite works in two stages: first it acts on suspicion, then it verifies. The Season 6 Security Report on Steam describes the flow. Players whose game environment looks suspicious are pulled from raids or given a short ban first. Their match recordings then go to the Replay Expert Team or the Security Technology Team, and a confirmed violation brings the heavier penalty.

Old cases can still come back. ABI says it runs real-time banning and reviews historical data, so a flagged account can be banned later or have its current ban extended. Teaming with a cheater can cost you too: Season 6 lists over 14,000 players penalized for it.
What Does ACE Do in an Arena Breakout Ban?
Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) is the kernel-level anti-cheat that ships with Arena Breakout: Infinite. ABI's September 2025 introduction of ACE says it runs at the kernel level to catch cheats working at that layer, naming VT-based evasion and DMA attacks. It installs with the game and is removed on uninstall, unless another installed game also uses ACE.
ABI has not said which pieces of your PC's hardware ID ACE records. The Season 6 report says only this much: ABI keeps a blacklisted hardware database, studies how banned devices try to evade it, and says its hardware identification keeps improving. A list of the exact serials ACE bans goes further than anything ABI has published.
ACE's track record from Early Access, per that September 2025 post, was 4,516 anti-cheat updates, 293 cheat tools blocked and 408,133 cheating accounts banned.
Which ABI Ban Do You Have?
The in-game enforcement notice is the first place to look in Arena Breakout: Infinite. Proxima Beta's content moderation notice, which ABI's website links from its footer, says players are told in-game why an action was taken, and that a temporary suspension shows when it will be lifted.

Two more checks are official. The Security Center on ABI's website has a Check Penalties page, which asks you to log in with your account email. The support form, covered below, has a Penalty Issue category for questions about a ban.
A ten-year length on its own does not prove a device ban. ABI's Ten "Don'ts" also lists account bans of up to ten years for promoting hacks, harassment, bug abuse and real-world trading, and those rules do not mention the device.
The last row of the table is an inference, not an ABI rule. ABI does not publish a separate screen for device bans. It also warns in Ten "Don'ts" rule 10 that a violation on a lent account or device counts as the owner's, and that such bans on accounts or devices will not be lifted.
How Do You Appeal an Arena Breakout: Infinite Ban?
An Arena Breakout: Infinite ban appeal goes through Customer Service. ABI's full release FAQ from September 2025 lists three ways to reach it:
- In the game: open Settings, then Privacy, then Customer Service.
- On the official website: use Contact Us, which opens the player support form. Pick the "Penalty Issue" category. The description box holds 700 characters.
- On Discord: send your feedback to an official moderator in ABI's community server.
What to write comes from Proxima Beta's moderation notice (last updated December 18, 2025): your game user ID and a clear explanation of why you think the decision was wrong. If the Support Team finds the ban was a mistake, it retracts or modifies it.
Keep your expectations honest. None of the ABI sources we checked give an appeal success rate or a response time for ban reviews. The false-ban appeal form ABI posted on X on May 17, 2024 predates the game's September 2025 full release, so guides built around that form may be out of date. Bans from sharing or lending an account or PC are, by ABI's own rule, not lifted.
