Disabling Test Mode

Follow these steps to disable Windows Test Mode

Important Note

  • - Save all open work before proceeding
  • - This process requires administrative privileges
  • - Your computer will need to restart

Open Command Prompt

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type "cmd" in the search bar
  3. Right-click on "Command Prompt"
  4. Select "Run as administrator"

Enter Command

Type the following commands and press Enter:

bcdedit /set testsigning off
bcdedit /debug off

Restart Your Computer

  1. Save any open work
  2. Click the Start menu
  3. Click the Power icon
  4. Select "Restart"

After your computer restarts, Test Mode will be disabled and the watermark will be removed from your desktop.
